Q: If for, any reason, I'm stuck controlling the slave computer and I can't go back to the master, how can I tell teleport to stop the control?
A: You can use the emergency stop shortcut on the master, that will instantaneously stop the control on the slave computer: ctrl-alt-shift-esc |

Would it be possible to add a customized hot key which would also do the emergency stop / back to host routine?
When I have my slave running iTunes in Cover Flow full screen mode, I cannot return the mouse to the master except for with this command. The emergency stop works great here, but it's way too many keys to have to press at once for what will likely be a common task when I'm using Teleport. |

Even if the emergency stop information isn't configurable, it would be helpful to have that information displayed somewhere in the preference pane.
I don't use the feature often enough to remember what the key sequence is immediately (it's three or four keys in the lower left with one or two keys in the upper right.... here, let's keep trying them all until something works...)
Having that information right in the Configuration pane would help. (Right now, I pull up the about page, click on Forums, then FAQ, then this post.) |

| Yep, I'll make that shortcut more apparent in a future version. |

For some reason, sometimes the master stops controlling the slave. In order to regain control of the master, I use the emergency stop keyboard shortcut, but nothing happens. However, if I wait for around 10 minutes, control is returned to me.
Am I doing something wrong? Is this a known bug.
I find Teleport so useful, but this bug keeps making it more hassle than it's worth. |

It's been 20 minutes, I've rebooted the slave, reconnected the master keyboard/mouse, and tried ctrl alt shift esc on both my laptop keyboard and external.
I just don't feel having to power off my mac due to this glaring of a software bug is worth it. This is pretty bad. |
